Lent/Easter Border Kit
(18 pieces) 8 feet each of three different borders for a total of 24 feet! The wide border (5 1/4" wide) is a time line from Ash Wednesday to Ascension. The other two borders (2 1/4" wide) can be used alone or alternated to frame a bulletin board, doorway, the uses are endless! Matches the Lent/Easter Banner Kit (see below).

These unique sets are designed to work together or alone using the Saints as examples to re-enforce the basics of our faith. "Cool" graphic designs engage teens in their own style with Saints that can be interchanged with the accent pieces from other sets. For example, use the American Saints to teach the Gifts of the Holy Spirit or the Saints from the Fruits of the Holy Spirit with those from the Corporal Works of Mercy to discuss how they all performed the Works of Mercy . pieces) We have had so many
requests for the "Catholic"
Ten Commandments, so here they are coupled with Jesus'
Greatest Commandment and New Commandment! We've also added
some colorful cutouts of Jesus, Moses, the burning bush and the Arc
of the Covenant. We have included the ten commandments on
separate panels to meet any of your creative teaching needs! The
tablets measure 11" X 17"!
These
images were designed to be conversation starters. Discussions on the
gifts of the Holy Spirit and how the saints displayed them can be
facilitated using this set. You can put up the saint posters and put
a gift (and flame) on each one, asking how they think each displayed
that particular gift. Then switch the gifts around and
continue the discussions. Or, you can hold up each gift for the
students to decide who gets each gift and why, to get the
conversation started. Of course, the conclusion should be that all
seven saints obviously displayed all seven gifts.
Saints included - Francis of Assisi, Therese the Little Flower, Pope
John Paul II, Mary Mother of God, Dominic, Joan of Arc, & Maximilian
Kolbe. There are a total of 22 pieces in the set and the
Saints stand 17" tall!
